Prepare for the 6th annual Downhill Dare Bicycle, August 8, 1998. Join us in a ride which starts at the summit of Colorado's beautiful Mt. Evans and ends at Chatfield Arboretum (Wadsworth Blvd. and Deer Creak Canyon Road). The ride is designed to provide Colorado's most spectacular views while riding downhill the majority of time. All proceeds provide adolescents with scholarships for the Solid Rock youth outings.

You can enjoy coasting 60 miles at your own pace in the outdoors on your bike. The ride begins its descent from the summit of Mt. Evans and winds down to Echo Lake. A short climb up one side of Squaw Pass prepares the cyclist to coast down to Evergreen. A turn over Hiawana Hills places you at the eastern side of Old Town Evergreen. We will glide down to Kittredge. the tour continues on meyer's gulch road through beautiful rolling hills. After riding through tiny town, a short climb takes you to the top of Deer Creek Canyon. Ultimately we glide down to Chatfield Arboretum for a picnic and enjoy live music.
